Did you know that we were never meant to handle life’s burdens and pressures all by ourselves?
There are challenges people go through over and again that can be totally crippling.
Many times, these challenges take the joy, peace and life out of people and some outrightly destroys people’s lives.
Hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety and depression then kick in.
And I’ve come to realise that this happens one time or the other to everyone even the strongest of men!
Know this, you weren’t built to handle such heavy emotions or carry such burdens.
You aren’t built for that.
Jesus wants to take away every sorrow, burden, negative emotions, pain and all such from you!
He wants you to live a happy and free life in Him.
Look at 1 Peter 5:7
“Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”
My dear, lay those burdens at the feet of Jesus. Let Him calm every raging storm and bring peace to your life today.
If you want to lay down your burdens right now, say this prayer:
Dear Jesus, I come to you today with this burden on my heart -name the issue and how it makes you feel-
I don’t want this anymore. Today I choose to lay it down at your feet, I cast this burden totally on you and I refuse to worry one more day about this issue.
Lord, I ask that you take control over this area of my life, I choose to trust you and follow you as you lead me (by your Word and your Spirit) on this issue.
I declare right now that all things concerning this issue starts working for my good in Jesus Name.
Thank You Lord Jesus, I am totally free from this burden, and I look to you wholly on this issue.
Insert heartfelt tongues and copious thanksgiving.
Pray this over and over till the burden is lifted from your soul.
As you do this look for scriptures concerning the particular issue and focus on them, also follow the instructions of God in your heart- that’s where your way out is.
